🙋 Impact Beyond have partnered with a fast-growing energy consultancy who is looking to further develop and deliver sustainability consultancy services to their established customers.  
 
🚀 YOUR MISSION: 
We're looking for a Head of Sustainability to build a sustainability consultancy offering from strong foundations of engaged clients, comprehensive client data, and strong leadership. This job’s mission is delivery - leading on sustainability and net zero initiatives to ensure clients can reach their targets.  

👥 ABOUT OUR CLIENT:  

A successful energy consultancy and software provider specializing in energy management and purchasing solutions for corporate and industrial clients across the UK. Now expanding their services to include Net Zero and ESG consulting to help their clients reduce carbon footprint, meet regulatory standards and embed sustainability practices. 

🛠️ WHAT YOU'LL DO:   

🌱 Drive the sustainability offering: build and embed the sustainability offering delivering the strategic direction for this new and expanding function. 

📊 Deliver sustainability expertise: design and implement impactful environmental solutions to help clients reduce carbon footprints, optimize resource efficiency, and adopt sustainable practices while ensuring regulatory compliance. 

👫 Lead a team: build and develop the team to manage and direct the sustainability function to support the organisational goals.  

🎓 YOUR CREDENTIALS:  

💼 Industry experience: You will have hands on experience of working in the energy sector with a strong understanding of renewable energy and energy management. Ideally you will also have worked at a consultancy, preferably within environment or energy management. 

🌍 Sustainability experience: You will have created and developed Net Zero strategies, with experience in GHG calculations and sustainability reporting. 

👫 Leadership: A proven track record of leading teams, managing people and delivering strategic initiatives across a business.

🗣️ Leader: you will have excellent leadership and people management skills. 

🤝Relationship builder: you’ll be a natural at forming good relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders, working together and collaborating on a common goal. 

💡 Business minded: You will have strong business acumen with good financial acumen as well as negotiation and contract management skills. 

💬 Communication guru: You're an excellent communicator and presenter, capable of engaging complex concepts to non-experts.
